Maximum PSI - now vendors for QTP Exhaust Cut-outs




Hello everyone,

Maximum PSI is now a vendor for Quick Time Performance, who specialize in electric exhaust cut-outs. Sizes range from 2.25", 2.5", 3", 3.5" and 4". Mike is planning on running a 4" cut-out on his E36 and we also picked up a 3" for the turbo E46.

QTP not only offers 2.25-4" cut-outs, but digital controllers, wireless controllers, adjustable turn-downs, and oval cut-outs as well. Here is a link to their website for more information on their products:

2009 M3 AA Stage II Install - Maximum PSI

We just wrapped up an install of an Active Autowerke stage II supercharger kit on an 09' M3. The customer asked that we take and post some pics and vids, so here goes...










The car pulls/sounds/performs beautifully. Mike and I both agreed that the 7 speed DCT is leaps and bounds ahead of the SMG trans.

Gotta love high revving BMW V8's...

TRM Stage II Install - 437whp SAE @ 16psi

We recently did a TRM Stage II kit install for a local customer. This included pulling the head to install a .140 MLS and ARP 2000 head studs.

The TRM kit uses the SPA bottom mount exhaust manifold and the SPA 7000 turbo and tuning is done on the stock DME with 60lb. fuel injectors.

Some recent exhaust systems Mike has fabricated for the CES/Maximum PSI turbo kit. The kit utilizes the Steedspeed manifold, 80lb. fuel injectors, 67mm turbo, and Nick G. software calibration on the stock DME. This setup is good for 600+whp on pump gas.

Technique Tuning E46 330 Turbo System - Special


We are now offering a special for the Technique Tuning E46 330 Turbo System plus install, here at our shop in Linden, NJ.

Pricing:

Manual Trans: $7100
Auto Trans: $7450

Stage II (01-02 330, manual only): $8800


The price includes shipping the components to us in NJ and installation of the kit. You drop off your car NA and drive it home turbo for these prices.

The price does not include installation of gauges, boost controllers, or wideband sensors, however we can add any additional components for very reasonable rates.

Finally a bolt-on turbo kit has been created for the BMW E46 330 models! Designed to work with a stock engine and provide up to 8.5psi of boost, the kit increases rear wheel power by a whopping 50%. With max boost available well before 3000rpm, V8-like power is just a throttle push away.

AMS-500 Boost Controller - $360 Shipped - Limited Time Offer



The AMS-500 Boost Controller can control 2-Stages and/or levels of boost. The 2-Stages are controlled by Input1 and Input2. Both of these inputs can be configured using a DIP Switch for either Ground or +12 volt activation. Input1 may be configured to function as a “Launch” stage when used in conjunction with Input2. Input2 offers an adjustable ramp rate as well as boost level settings.

Each stage has a range of adjustment from 0 to 40psi with 1psi resolution and is controlled to within .1psi to target using advanced control algorithms. If a setting greater than 40psi is configured the AMS-500 will default to the maximum 40psi allowed. A setting of 0 PSI will turn either stage off.

An optional Safe Mode is available when using a pressure source other than the manifold pressure. The Safe Mode continually checks for the proper pressure increase and will disable the system and open the decrease solenoid in the event of an error condition.

When in Normal Mode of operation the AMS-500 will keep trying to apply pressure to the waste gateuntil its target is reached.

IMPORTANT—The AMS-500 controls the pressure on the Waste Gate so the actual boost level obtained is a combination of the Waste Gate Spring pressure and pressure applied by the controller. (Just like the AMS-1000) This controller comes with everything you need to connect it up and use except for an external air source if desired.
